Bien amicalement
Lionel

Dear Dr. Gichuki,
Hope this email finds you well,
I am now based here at ERMIS Africa where i have initiated a career
mentroship program for the university students, known as JUMP.
JUMP (Joint Univeristy Mentroship Program), is meant to equip our
university students with practical skills in information systems,
specifically GIS, web 2.0 technology and documentation technologies.
The major components sof the program are:
Research based projects
Training on partciptory GIS, Web 2.0 technologies and conservation
filmamaking.
Community based conservation projects
Leadership development
Students going through this program will have the chance of
interacting with local communities as they work on the projects,
while at the same time gain experience with the guidance of seasoned
mentors.
You can have a look at the JUMP program on our website;
http://ermisafrica.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&a…
We are targeting to start up with the public universities and later
on we shall be involing the private universites and international
exchange programs.
KIndly help me reach the Maseno and Moi University (Chepkoirel
Campus),
Regards,
Grace Mwaura

Thanks John,
This is the kindly of information we need for the upcoming
scientists; in SARNISSA we have set up a student data base and are
encouraging more to join. Please feel free to reach out more
especially those in KMFRI on Grad programmes in and outside the
country, I do not have their email contacts but I know you can.
I have copied Will Leschen (our coordinator) so as to increase the
readership. Meanwhile, I plan on sending Grace a note as a follow up
to her email to you.
Best regards,
Charles
