This position provides an opportunity to work with Associate Professor Romina Palermo<https://sites.google.com/site/drrominapalermo/> and Winthrop Professor Gillian Rhodes<https://www.socrates.uwa.edu.au/S> in their labs. The appointee will conduct independent and collaborative research to investigate the mechanisms (perceptual, cognitive, neural, evolutionary) underlying person perception (faces, bodies, voices). The successful candidate will have an excellent publication record, theoretical knowledge of current issues in person perception, experience designing and conducting experiments, strong quantitative skills and excellent communication skills.
