      Salary range:  Level A $56,983 - $77,328 p.a. - minimum starting salary for appointee with PhD will be $77,328 p.a.

      Salary range:  Level B $81,400 - $96,663 p.a.

      Plus 17% superannuation

      Level of appointment is dependent on qualifications and experience

We are seeking a highly motivated early-career researcher to join the Person Perception Program and CCD in the School of Psychology. This position provides an opportunity to work with Associate Professor Romina Palermo and Winthrop Professor Gillian Rhodes in their labs. The appointee will conduct independent and collaborative research to investigate the mechanisms (perceptual, cognitive, neural, evolutionary) underlying person perception (faces, bodies, voices). The successful candidate will have an excellent publication record, theoretical knowledge of current issues in person perception, experience designing and conducting experiments, strong quantitative skills and excellent communication skills.
