Eric, EUS is unlikely to be a major problem for commercial aquaculture in Zambia because it doesn't affect tilapia and chinese carp are also not badly affected. The main species likely to be impacted in Zambia would be indigenous cyprinids. It seems to be most prevalent in winter - colder winters in the region may be why it seems to have become more common in southern Africa.
