Message to all shiny happy PhDers to say there's a party this coming Friday
night (13th Feb) here in super sunny Stirling, so if you're fancying a break
from the PhD gradgrind and getting out and coming to a party appeals to you,
please know you'd be very welcome indeed to come along. Strictly no
discussions of Lit Reviews or other dangerous & unnecessary profanities
allowed, any transgressors will be prosecuted. Maximum penalty 4 years in
Stirling.
Time is 10.00ish Friday evening, place is Top-Right Flat, 1A Friars Street
in centre of Stirling (right next to The Hogshead pub & opposite Sportsters
Bar), and the name on the bell/buzzer is Nick Endacott. If you fancy it,
well that'd be tops, please just bring yourself a smile & a bottle(s).
Any worries or shyness, please e-mail nicendacott(a)yahoo.com or call me on

Hello Everyone,
As the research postgraduates don't often hang around the freshers fair or
the clubs and societies' recruitment stalls held in February, we wanted to
make sure that you all knew there was a University Choir, and that we are
looking for new members!
The choir consists of university students, staff and community members, both
beginners and experienced singers. We don't hold auditions - anyone can
join, and you can come and try it for a few weeks without commitment.
We are having a welcome meeting for new members on Monday 16th February at
6.30pm in LTA4, and thereafter rehearsals are held on Mondays from
7.30-9.00pm in LTA4.
If you want any more information, you can contact us at
stirlinguniversitychoir(a)hotmail.com
<mailto:stirlinguniversitychoir@hotmail.com> , or you can email me at
jessica.dyson(a)stir.ac.uk <mailto:jessica.dyson@stir.ac.uk> .
Hope to see some of you there!
Best wishes,
Jessica.
