The International Society for Research on Emotion is pleased to announce that Early Bird
registration is now open for the International Society for Research on Emotion conference
2022 (ISRE22) and that we are accepting applications for the 2022 ISRE Dissertation
Award,
ISRE22
The ISRE conference is an exciting opportunity to meet international colleagues, present
your work, and to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in emotion research. ISRE
members study emotions from a wide range of disciplines including psychology,
neuroscience, philosophy, sociology, linguistics, affective computing, history,
anthropology, art and design. The ISRE conference 2022 will include keynote addresses by
Antonio Damasio, Barbara Fredrickson and Eran Halperin, six pre-conferences, and a career
development workshop.
The meeting will be held in person on the campus of the University of Southern California
in Los Angeles, from July 15 – 18th 2022 with the initial day reserved for

The registration is now open. Early Bird rates are available through March 11th, 2022.

new and existing ISRE members. To obtain this discount, members will be required to
include their membership number at time of registration.

then clicking on the member's icon top-left stating “Welcome, [Member name and

2022 ISRE PhD DISSERTATION AWARD
The International Society for Research on Emotion is excited to announce the 2022 ISRE
Dissertation Award, which seeks to recognise excellence in early career emotion
researchers. We are now calling for submissions for the 2022 ISRE Dissertation Award.
The recipient of this award will receive a monetary prize of 500 euro, as well as the
opportunity to write a short summary of their dissertation for the Emotion Researcher
newsletter, which is sent to all ISRE members. The recipient, as well as 2 other
outstanding nominees, will receive an accompanying certificate at the 2022 ISRE conference
