On Tuesday 6th December at 5.15 p.m. in Seminar Room 1 in Psychology, Dr Elizabeth Lonsdorf of the University of Chicago will give an informal seminar:
"Current research at the Lester E. Fisher Center for the Study and Conservation of Apes, Lincoln Park Zoo".
She will discuss recent research at the Center on ape learning and cognition, as well as field conservation programs in Gombe and Goualougo.
Dr Lonsdorf is Director of the Lester E. Fisher Center for the Study and Conservation of Apes in Lincoln Park Zoo.
Among her publications is "The Mind of the Chimpanzee" (Ed with S Ross and T Matsuzawa), Chicago U P 2010.
We shall be going for a meal afterwards at about 6.30 - just let me know if you'd like to join us. She'll also be here Monday evening.
