Arthur Kiiza. ----------------------------------- Joseph Ndung'u a écrit :
Dear Arthur,
Could you visit our website www.shama.co.ke <http://www.shama.co.ke> and see what we are doing, under Shama Fish and bacon, with a rural community in Central Kenya. We have also posted a number of video clips at the following link: www.changemakers.com/en-us/node/56309 <http://www.changemakers.com/en-us/node/56309>
That community have become experts in making ponds, and since all of them are unemployed, I am sure they would be happy to come and work with you for some time and help in building the ponds. You could thereafter use the local expertise in fish farming that already exists in Uganda.
Let me know what you think.
Best wishes,
Joseph

Dear all,
My names are Arthur Kiiza and I have just acquired 800 acres of Land in Uganda. The land touches both River Nile and Lake Kyoga in Eastern Uganda. It is approximately two hour drive from Kampala the capital city of Uganda. Few weeks ago, I took someone to do a study on what I can do on this land and he suggested fish farming, maize production, water melon production, cattle keeping, goat keeping etc. However my interests are mainly in fish farming. However, I had never done any fishing and I do not know where to begin, though I'm very interested. Would any one kindly tell me how I can start fish farming? What about funding? This Land has potential and with your help, we can all benefit from this Land. Please feel free to send me all the information. I also welcome partners.
Arthur Kiiza.
