The African co-manager is called Jonas Mugabe, is based at FARA in Accra, and will be joining the SARNISSA list shortly.
We are now fast-tracking the creation of consortia around 3 relevant themes of the latest EC/FP7 call:
* KBBE.2011.2.5-02 Reducing post-harvest losses for increased food security * KBBE.2011.1.3-01 New/next generation of researchers for Neglected Zoonoses at the animal-human interface * KBBE.2011.1.4-08 Role of aquaculture in improving food security and eradicating poverty worldwide
I hope this list can serve as a platform to identify themes and stakeholders to create strong consortia to respond to KBBE.2011.1.4-08.

I worked recently for 3 years at FARA in Accra as Communication expert. Prior to this assignment I was advisor at the Cabinet of the Belgian Minister for Development Cooperation [Brussels], Program Officer for University Cooperation [VLIR-Brussels]), Coordinator of the Medical Relief to South Sudan [MSF Nairobi], and Program Officer at UNDP [Nouakchott].

KBBE.2011.1.3-01 / New prochaine génération de chercheurs lutte contre les zoonoses négligées à l'interface homme-animal pauvreté dans le monde 3. KBBE.2011.1.4-08 Rôle de l'aquaculture dans l'amélioration de la sécurité alimentaire
J'espère que cette liste peut servir de plate-forme pour identifier les thèmes et les intervenants afin de créer des consortiums pour répondre à une bonne proposition sous KBBE.2011.1.4-08.
