The World Aquaculture Society is holding its 2017 meeting in Cape Town. The theme is to do with financing aquaculture, and i am planning a special session that would bring bankers and prospective farmers together to share perspectives and hopefully come up with a plan for getting money moving into the sector. For presentation at this meeting and for general purposes of informing the banks of the real need on the ground in Africa, i am putting together a portfolio of brief business plans that capture the gist of what these investments look like: La Banque mondiale est consciente des difficultés inhérentes au financement des petites et moyennes entreprises opérant dans le secteur aquacole, au niveau mondial et particulièrement en Afrique. La World Aquaculture Society tiendra sa réunion annuelle 2017 au Cap, Afrique du Sud. Le financement de l'aquaculture fera partie intégrant de sa thématique, et je prépare une session spéciale qui réunira les banquiers et des futurs aquaculteurs pour qu'ils partagent leurs vues et, comme nous l'espérons, des stratégies pour financer le secteur.
