Chers collègues, La Faculté de Bunda-Université du Malawi, l'Institut de Recherche Agricole pour le Développement du Cameroun, la Fondation ETC des Pays- Bas et le programme SARNISSA vous invitent à participer au prochain e- workshop sur "La mise en réseau et le dialogue entre scientifiques, acteurs-clés et décideurs politiques dans le domaine de l'aquaculture africaine sub-saharienne" (28 septembre au 16 octobre 2009) Le e-workshop vise spécifiquement à: (1) Partager et discuter des expériences de chacun en matière de stratégie de mise en réseau et de dialogue constructif entre scientifiques, acteurs-clés et décideurs politiques en aquaculture, (2) A stimuler des initiatives personnelles et institutionnelles en matière de mise en réseau et de dialogue constructif entre scientifiques, acteurs-clés et décideurs politiques en aquaculture. Et ceci, dans le but plus global de: - Pour les décideurs politiques et le secteur gouvernemental: mettre en oeuvre au niveau national de manière effective les stratégies de développement de l'aquaculture, rédiger des plans d'action et des documents de planification sur 5-10 ans, grâce aux échanges entre pays d'une même région, et à l'interaction avec un certain nombre d'acteurs clés - Pour les scientifiques: Grâce à des échanges avec d'autres chercheurs, d'autres acteurs-clés et les décideurs publics, permettre de nouvelles collaborations et l'inclusion des décideurs dans les projets de recherche, dans la perspective de communiquer plus efficacement les résultats des travaux et leur prise en compte dans l'élaboration des futures décisions politiques. - Pour les autres acteurs-clés: Grâce à une meilleure compréhension de la politique de développement de l'aquaculture et une meilleure connaissance de la recherche et du développement dans leur propre pays et les pays voisins, développer de nouveaux partenariats, et mieux comprendre et planifier le rôle important qu'ils peuvent jouer dans l'avenir de l'aquaculture de leur pays. Le e-workshop est organisé pour des participants anglophones et francophones. Il est nécessaire de s'enregistrer pour y participer, et les inscriptions sont dès à présent ouvertes. Dear colleagues We would like to inform you that BUNDA College-University of Malawi; The Institut de Recherche Agricole pour le Développement in Cameroun, ETC Foundation, The Netherlands and the SARNISSA programme are inviting you to participate in an upcoming e-workshop on constructive networking and dialogue among researchers, other key stakeholders and policy-makers in the field of aquaculture in Sub- Saharan Africa(September 28- October 16, 2009).
The e-workshop specifically aims to: (1) To share and discuss experiences on strategies for networking and constructive dialogue among researchers, other key stakeholders and policy makers in aquaculture, (2) To stimulate personal and institutional initiatives regarding networking and dialogue among researchers, other key stakeholders and policy makers in the field of aquaculture.
This with the broader goals to: - For the policy makers and the government sector: Through inter- country/regional learning and interactions with range of other stakeholders to more effectively be able to develop their own in country aquaculture strategies, development plans and 5 -10 year aquaculture planning documents leading ultimately towards sustainable growth and aquaculture production in their own countries - For researchers: Through exchange with fellow researchers, other key stakeholders and policy-makers identify the potential for new research collaborations and inclusion of policy makers in new research projects and better understand how their work can be more effectively communicated to policy-makers in order to bear on future policy decisions. - For other key stakeholders: To develop a better understanding of aquaculture policy, research and development in their own country as well as other countries in the region, develop new partnerships, and better understand and plan for the important role they can play in future multi-stakeholder aquaculture planning and development in their country.
The e-workshop will be organised for both English as well as French speaking participants.
