FYI. If some of you wish to become HEA registered (which is good for a CV) You may now be
eligible via the former SFELTE route

Subject: HEA qualification
Hi everyone,
Following our conversation on students obtaining teaching qualifications last week, I had
a chat with Susan Greig, our academic development partner. Thank you @Susan
Greig<mailto:s.m.greig@stir.ac.uk> for your time today.
From our conversation, students with 1-2 years of current teaching experience and having a
contract with the University of Stirling (e.g., as tutors, teaching assistant) could have
access to the Associate Fellowship qualification through the " Focus on Fellowship
Experiential Learning Scheme".
If you know any students in your division who might be interested on obtaining the
Associate Fellow qualification and meet the requirements, they could apply through the
link below. The deadline is the 14th of February, training starting in March 2025 and
submission in September 2025.
If this is very tight, there is another cohort starting in July 2025.

For any further information, please contact Susan Greig or ask the relevant students to do
so.
Best wishes,
Ines B.
