With the rise of experimental psychology and neuroscientific approaches, this field has seen remarkable growth—enhancing our understanding of how we attend to, perceive, and recognize ourselves, and the neural systems that support these functions. This Collection aims to foster interdisciplinary integration across perceptual, cognitive, developmental, cultural, biological, and evolutionary domains.
