Department: School of Politics and Communication Studies 

Job Description:The school requires a Research Assistant for a 9-month full-time post to work on a major ESRC research project analysing UK media coverage of the 2003 Iraq war. The successful candidate will be an experienced researcher, familiar with content and framing analysis of media coverage and, working alongside the principal Research Assistant, be capable of undertaking organisational and analytical tasks as well as working on the preparation of the research results. A postgraduate qualification is desirable. The project is in collaboration with the University of Leeds Institute of Communications Studies. 

Salary: £19,460 pa 

Location: Liverpool City Centre
