Gambling Studentship
Deadline: 15 September 2003

The Gambling Industry Charitable Trust invites applications to undertake
research leading to a PhD at a recognised UK university.  The research must
be relevant to the trust's priorities.  The trust pays all fees plus a
maintenance grant for three years.

Epilepsy Research
Deadline: 30 October 2003

Epilepsy Action, also known as the British Epilepsy Association, invites
applications for its postgraduate research bursaries to encourage
non-laboratory research into epilepsy. Awards are of £1,500.
