POSTPONEMENT OF THE FIRST REGIONAL WORKSHOP OF THE NEPAD-CTA AQUACULTURE AND FISHERIES NETWORK OF THE SUB SAHARAN AFRICA (FISHNET SSA) WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HELD AT SUN ‘N’ SAND HOLIDAY RESORT FROM 20TH TO 23RD APRIL 2009

With much regret, we announce the postponement of the NEPAD-CTA Workshop on NEPAD-CTA Aquaculture and Fisheries Network of the SUB- SAHARAN AFRICA (FISHNET SSA) that was scheduled for April 20th to 23rd, 2009. We have just been informed by the NEPAD Secretariat that the workshop coincides with the African Ministers of Agriculture meeting which is again scheduled for 20th to 24th April 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and which requires the presence of the NEPAD Secretariat in fostering the CAADP process.

As the workshop intends to build on initiatives of the CAADP, it has become necessary that we postpone the meeting to a later date. Meanwhile, we will continue with the planning process and you will be communicated on the new dates.

We sincerely regret the inconveniences these changes have caused on you.
