Le professeur Natarajan est en Ethiopie (voir signature) Cher Alexandre Degaud, Je vous informe que je suis un professeur indien, spécialisé en aquaculture et que je travaille actuellement comme professeur et directeur du centre de formation, de recherche et d'assistance rurale en aquaculture (CATER). On m'a invité ici pour développer des programmes d'aquaculture à l'Université. En févier 2009, nous avons organisé une conférence internationale sur la Pêche et l'Aquaculture, ainsi qu'un atelier sur le développement de formations. Sur la base de ce dernier atelier, nous lançons un programme universitaire d'aquaculture et pêche pour la première fois dans le pays (niveau master ?). Les cours débutent en octobre. Nous avons une ferme piscicole sur le complexe Bioressource qui est à 11 km de notre campus. En juin 2009, nous avons organisé une formation pour les pisciculteurs et du 26 au 30 octobre 2009, nous organisons une formation sur le reproduction des poissons (tilapia, claridés). Notre intervenant est le Dr. Ron Phelp de l'Université d'Auburn, Alabama. Nous sommes heureux de vous inviter dans notre université pour vous permettre de poursuivre votre thèse. Pourriez vous nous donner plus de renseignements sur vos besoins et vos idées de façon à ce que je les présente à l'administration de l'Université. Dear Alexandre Degaud I am to inform that I am an Indian Professor specialized in Aquaculture, presently working as Professor and Director for the Centre for Aqaucutlre Training, Eduaction Research and Extension (CATER). I have been invited here to develop aquaculture programmes in this University .February 2009 we have organized an International Conference on Fisheries and Aqaucutlure and also a Workshop on Curriculum Developement. I am in fifth year ISAR-Lyon (engineering school agronomists located in Lyon, Rhone-Alpes, France). I am looking for a mission/placement of 6 months from January 2010 to complete a thesis study. My specialties are the development of rural aquaculture and project management. Aquaculture in Sub-Saharan Africa is an area I know because I attended an optional classes on aquaculture, in addition to conducting a literature review on the status of African aquaculture and the main species ( Oerochromis niloticus, Clarias, Cyprinus carpio, Heterotis, Mullet, Shrimp and Seaweed Eucheuma). Also, I did an internship of 3 months in Congo - Brazzaville inter alia, on the fish tilapia (I also had the chance to visit the fish hatchery of Dzoumouna).

I was very interested to put myself in the service of a structure (possibly large) which is active in promoting aquaculture in Africa from a development perspective.
