Cette étude concluait au rôle néfaste des barrages pour le développement et favorisait plutôt la construction de centrales à combustible fossile, plus rapides à construire, avec moins de dépassement des coûts. On Jerome's invitation I send you the answer written by ICOLD when Said Business School of Oxford published its article on dams cost overrun. The publication, by the Said Business School of Oxford, of a study on dams economics, has nurtured hot discussion among academics. This study was concluding that dams were not favorable to the development of countries and was pleading for building fossil fuels plant, faster to build and with less cost overrun.
