 like to invite you to attend our Undergraduate Dissertation Work in Progre
 ss Symposium\, which will take place on Thursday 26 February from 2:00–4
 :00pm in Cottrell 2A13. Please feel free to attend as much or as little as
  your schedule allows.\n\nThis is an important milestone for our undergrad
 uate dissertation students. At this stage\, they will have developed their
  research questions and should be beginning to generate early empirical re
 sults. The symposium provides them with a valuable opportunity to present 
 their work and receive feedback from across the Economics community.\n\nYo
 ur perspective and feedback at this stage can make a meaningful difference
  to the direction and quality of their final dissertations. Exposure to di
 fferent viewpoints—methodological\, theoretical\, and applied—is parti
 cularly valuable as students refine their arguments and interpretation.\n\
 nI would therefore strongly encourage as many staff and PhD students as po
 ssible to attend\, even if only for part of the session. Your engagement p
 lays an important role in supporting our students’ development as resear
 chers and contributes to the intellectual life of the division.\n\nMany th
