Hi all.
The University of Glasgow is hosting the RES PhD Conference 2023 (formerly RES Symposium
of Junior Researchers) on June 9, 2023. It is usually an excellent conference and I highly
encourage you to attend, and where possible submit to present.
This one-day conference is organised by PhD students at the Adam Smith Business
School<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2…amp;reserved=0>,
University of Glasgow and supported by the Royal Economic
Society<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%…
(RES). The event is designed to provide PhD students and early career researchers with the
opportunity to come together and connect with other researchers in a supportive
environment to share ideas and receive valuable feedback.
We are also very pleased to be hosting Prof. Hervé Moulin, (University of Glasgow) as
keynote speaker at the conference.
PhD students and Early Career Researchers are particularly encouraged to apply for the
conference, but we also extend a warm welcome to more experienced researchers to attend
the conference and provide feedback and mentorship. Applicants are invited to submit
samples of works in all areas of Economics. All submissions will be reviewed by a
scientific committee comprising PhDs in economics from different universities.
There is no participation or registration fee for the conference. Funding of up to £100
is available from the University of Glasgow and the Royal Economic Society.
The Call for Papers is now open, and interested applicants can apply
here<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fr…amp;reserved=0>.
The submission deadline is 3rd April 2023 11:59 PM (GMT).
Application guidelines and more information about the conference can be found on our
website<https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%…amp;reserved=0>.
