Dear PhD Lab,

Thank you for the productive session today. There is a recording on Teams for those who couldn’t make it in person.

Three follow ups:

(1) Here is the updated PhD Lab agenda for the Spring term. We keep populating it as we move along.

@Jasmine/Liz: We’ve kept the next two labs free for you in case you want to have a mock talk before your annual reviews. Could you let me know which date you want?

You can either both go for the same time slot (back to back) or choose one each.

@Jasmine: I’ve also scheduled you into two demonstrations (Academic CV on 19/03 and LaTeX – joint with Kevin – on 02/04). Please let me know if those provisional dates work for you. We can reschedule if necessary.

(2) Here is the link to the Econometrics Academy with lots of helpful resources we mention today:

(3) We discussed whether to have regular PhD lab sport outings as a social event. Badminton and Pickleball were discussed. Next Wednesday before our lab there is a Pickleball for Wellbeing tryout at Stirling’s sports hall (I’ve sent the link through earlier today). Worth checking out. I think I’ll go.

Best,
Till
