Hi folks,
Please see below. It is a bit out of the behavioural science wheelhouse so I am not sure
if any of you will want to take this on. But we are looking for seminar tutors for a first
year elective called Wicked Problems and Sustainable Solutions. It is taught across all
faulties at the university. Obviously the materials are all very introductory but you do
have to work outside your discipline.
If you would like a bit of tutorial work then please to let me know. We had Christoph from
SMS last year and he enjoyed the process.
Kind regards,
Craig

Subject: TAs for UNIU9A1
Good morning, All
As of this morning, we have 73 students registered on the module and - so far - only one
TA. Christoph, who tutored last year, has completed his PhD and moved on, and Kat is in
the final throes of writing up and limiting what tutoring she does, so we have vacancies
for TAs and budget for up to three more. At present, we have four tutorial groups and I
have a TA from HHP who can cover one. If you have any 2nd or 3rd year doctoral students
looking for teaching experience with an interdisciplinary Level 7 module, could you sound
them out? It would be good if we could offer one group to each TA but would go to a
maximum of 2 groups. Kat has said that she will be available to do an induction with the
new TAs.
Best wishes,
Richard
