Hi everyone,
I have a wee favour to ask. My survey experiment is nearly ready to be launched but I want to make sure I haven't missed any mistakes!
If you have a spare few minutes to have a look through it would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link: https://stir.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/preview/previewId/13f6136c-2885-4dca-878…
Just a heads up that everyone will be randomly allocated a different message upon entering.
Things I want to double check (but not limited to):
* You should only be able to gain access if all three consent conditions are ticked
*
You should only receive questions on driving regularity if you have previously signalled that you drive
*
For questions about psychological distance (how relevant is this issue to you personally, how likely it is to impact developing countries, when the impacts will likely be felt etc) the same treatment message should be displayed at the top of the screen. If the message changes slightly, please let me know. Those who get the control message should not get any questions about this.
If there is anything else that doesn't look quite right, let me know 🙂
Thanks so much!
Best,
Jayne

Dear PhD lab,
Apologies, I meant to send this through a lot sooner.
Shall we settle on a few dates to meet during the summer? I believe monthly meetings (on Teams) would make sense. That would give us three meetings until the beginning of the Autumn term.
Let’s have our first meeting once Simon is back from leave.
How about the following?
Meeting 1: Wednesday, 3rd of July
Meeting 2: Wednesday, 31st of July
Meeting 3: Wednesday, 28th of August
@Katie: Which one of these would you like to present in?
I will also schedule 1:1 meetings with all Stirling-based PhD students in June. Please let me know your availability.
Best,
Till

Dear all,
I am pleased to introduce Francesca Pietrangeli (CC'd here), a PhD student from the University of Tuscia, Italy. Francesca will be visiting our Division in August/September 2024 and again in March 2025.
Her research focuses on integrating urban and regional indicators to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of local and place-based policies aimed at improving the local environment and quality of life.
Francesca will have a desk in the School and is keen to connect with as many of us as possible. She is interested in participating in Economics Division and Behavioural Science seminars, activities, and workshops, as well as broader School-wide events.
Francesca is looking for accommodation for August and September, too. If you know of any opportunities, please reach out to both Francesca and me directly.
Best regards,
Mirko
