Well done Jasmine - I found that presentation crystal clear - (which to me
is more helpful than lots of pictures!) - and very best of luck with the
next steps
all the best

Subject: Reminder: Jasmine's Annual Review tomorrow + Schedule for rest of
the Spring term.
To: BehSci PhD lab <BehSciPhDlab(a)groups.stir.ac.uk>
Dear PhD Lab,
This is a reminder that Jasmine has her annual review presentation
tomorrow, so please attend if you can.
- *When:* Wednesday, 27th of March 11:00 (our usual PhD Lab slot)
- *Where:*
- On campus: *Lecture Theatre A1* (Cottrell)
- Online:
https://teams.microsoft.com/dl/launcher/launcher.html?url=%2F_%23%2Fl%2Fmee…
Also, we should think about how to fill the remaining PhD Lab slots of this
term:
27/03/2024 Jasmine's Annual Review
03/04/2024
10/04/2024
17/04/2024 Scottish Economic Society Conference
24/04/2024
01/05/2024
The teaching term officially ends on 17th of April, but I’m happy to
continue the lab until the end of April if there is demand. During the
summer, we could switch to a monthly rhythm – something to discuss during
the PhD Lab.
This would leave us with up to four remaining slots in the Spring.
Would anyone want to present an idea/their progress in any of these slots?
@Jasmine: One of the later slots would be ideal for you to present the
Heiss/McFadden/Winter/Wuppermann paper to us.
I would also like to get another one or two chapters of the 'Doing
Economics’ book covered before the summer, so I would need one or two
volunteers for this.
Please let me know if you’d like any of these slots.
Best,
Till

Dear PhD Lab,
Next week there are two important events happening in Stirling and I would ask you to attend if you can.
(1) Jasmine’s Annual Review
* We finally have a date
* We know the presentation and know that Jasmine’s got this, but let’s show Jasmine on the day that we’ve got her back
* When: Wednesday, 27th of March 11:00 (our usual PhD Lab slot)
* Where:
* On campus: Lecture Theatre A7 (Cottrell)
* Online: https://teams.microsoft.com/dl/launcher/launcher.html?url=%2F_%23%2Fl%2Fmee…
(2) HMRC Behavioural Insights Team Campus Visit
* Natalie Gillson and Daniel Alford, the heads of the Behavioural Insights Team at HMRC (the UK's tax authority), are coming to talk about their work to the Behavioural Science Centre
* This is a great opportunity for future real-world collaborations and I hope we have a strong showing!

Dear PhD lab,
This is a reminder that we have our next PhD lab tomorrow from 11:00–12:30 in room 2B88 (Cottrell).
I don’t remember a specific agenda item for tomorrow (but please correct me if I am wrong), so we can have a regular touch base session and talk about anything that’s on your plates at the moment.
Also, we will welcome two new PhD students, Julion and Maeve, to the lab! They are two of Leo’s UCD PhD students whom Leo will keep second supervision from Stirling. They will join our labs remotely (exactly like Johanne), and will have a chance to introduce themselves to us tomorrow. You will see that their interests and backgrounds make them an excellent fit for our lab.
Best,
Till

Dear PhD lab,
This is a reminder that we have our next PhD lab tomorrow from 11:00–12:30 in room 2B76 (Cottrell).
Among other things, we can talk about Leo’s upcoming conference in Dundee, as well as funding for conferences in more general.
And we will continue with our book club: Kevin will present Chapter 3 of “Doing Economics" and we will discuss its contents afterwards, so please make sure to have read the chapter in advance.
P.S: I just noticed a second e-mail address popping up as a suggested recipient, namely behsciphdlab(a)groups.stir.ac.uk<mailto:behsciphdlab@groups.stir.ac.uk>, which is different from the phd-behsci(a)lists.stir.ac.uk<mailto:phd-behsci@lists.stir.ac.uk> we have been using. Does anyone know who cerated this and who is on it?
Best,
Till
