'Planning Ahead: Applying for Research Funding'' Claire MacLean: Planning & Research Office Cottrell 2A87A, 2pm - 4pm 17th February 2005 This session will introduce students to the business of acquiring external funding to support research activity. Guidance will be provided on identifying appropriate sources of funding; tips on drafting proposals and submitting applications; and discussion of associated issues such as costing and pricing, intellectual property and the relationship between funding body and researcher.
