Dear all,

Once again, SURE is calling for applications for what will become the third round of Innovation Awards. These annual awards aim to support and promote commercialisation and knowledge transfer within the University and to fund projects with commercial potential. Winning projects can receive financial support from SURE of up to £10,000.

As in previous years, we are seeking to pump-prime projects which demonstrate that they meet a market demand and have the potential to generate a return on investment. These can be either in the area of product or service developments or full-cost training and development programmes (CPD).

Students are invited to participate with a business idea which they would like to take forward by starting-up a company or with a product idea for which they wish to develop a prototype. Student projects are funded with normally up to £1,500 (exceptionally, higher awards can be granted).
