Dear fellow face researchers,
The 34th Annual BPS Cognitive Psychology Section Conference will be held at Liverpool Hope University 29-31st August 2018. Abstract submissions are now
open and close on 1st May 2018. We invite members of the face research list to consider submitting an abstract.
Our conference is always well attended by face researchers from the UK and beyond with face perception research always well represented in the programme and a particular highlight
of the conference for many. This year there will be a symposia on ‘Recent Developments in Person Perception’ Chaired by Dr Andrew Dunn. Keynote speakers will be Prof Fernand Gobet, Prof James Nairne and the final keynote will be delivered by the winner of
the 2018 Cognitive Section Award.
We also offer bursaries to assist postgraduate
students to attend and present posters / papers at the conference, up to £400 per applicant.
