Society for Affective Science 2022 Virtual Conference: Early Bird Reg. Deadline Approaching (Feb. 14)!

Dear Colleagues, I am excited to share that Early Bird Registration is open for the Society for Affective Science (SAS) annual meeting, which will be held in an all-virtual format between March 30 - April 2, 2022. On behalf of the SAS membership and outreach committee, I encourage you and your trainees to attend. SAS is an excellent venue for presenting research, and the interdisciplinary nature of the program is uniquely beneficial. Below, I outline highlights and featured speakers for the upcoming meeting. Early bird registration rates are available through February 14, 2022. With the rise of the "Big Team Science<https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-022-00150-2>" movement, it's time to discuss potentially developing a "ManyFaces" collaboration of face researchers. Like other initiatives, face research would benefit from a more diverse sample of subjects, especially in social perception. Face research also has a stimulus generalisability problem: we tend to reuse image sets with low diversity of age and ethnicity.
