Liz is a key member of a group who received a prestigious award from the Species Survival Committee of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature for her work on the Primate Specialist Group and their outstanding contributions in delivering the Species Strategic Plan from 2021-2023. The Primate Specialist Group<http://www.primate-sg.org/> is a network of scientists and conservationists who stand against the tide of extinction which threatens humanity’s closest kin. Liz Williamson is The Primate Specialist Group<http://www.primate-sg.org/>’s Red List Authority Coordinator for great apes and Liz has been integral in winning this award.
