I'm delighted to announce that this week's BERG seminar, Wednesday April 19th, at 4pm, will be a discussion led by Dr Alexandra Horowitz from Barnard College. The title will be "Who is the dog?" We'll be discussing two of her recent papers:
Centring individual animals to improve research and citation practices -
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/brv.12912
Considering the “Dog” in Dog–Human Interaction -
https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fvets.2021.642821/full
Both papers are available open access.
The discussion will be hybrid to take advantage of the fact that Dr Jim Anderson -- a former Stirling colleague! -- will be joining us in person in the psychology common room (3A94), but Dr Horowitz and anyone who wishes to join remotely can do so using this link:
It promises to be an exciting discussion so please do join us! The schedule of upcoming BERG seminars, including Dr Anderson's seminar on Thursday April 20th, is below:
