Subject: Animal welfare student scholarship meeting
Dear
UFAW link,
Please
find attached a programme for the upcoming animal welfare student scholarship
meeting that this year the University of Glasgow has kindly agreed to host. As
previously, this meeting is free to all to attend and refreshments and lunch
will be provided. I would be grateful if you could bring it to the attention of
your students and colleagues through the different physical and electronic
notice boards and other means of communication you use to distribute
information to them.
In
addition to those who have an interest in animal welfare science, we have found
in the past that second year undergraduates who are in the process of
considering the subject of their research project have benefited from attending
as it has given them a better idea of what is expected of them, possible ideas
as to what their project could be on and a funding source that they might
access.
If it is of interest to you and/or your students and you or they
wish to attend, or come as a group, then I would be grateful if you could
contact me so I can send more details and arrange for sufficient catering to be
available on the day.
Kind
regards,
Steve
