Subject: UFAW LINK - Animal Welfare and Sustainability webinar

----------------------------------------

Hi all

With my SRUC hat on I have organised a webinar on animal welfare and sustainability - sometimes animal welfare is considered an integral part of sustainability, and sometimes it is not considered at all, or some actions (such as intensification of agricultural practice) may lead to poorer animal welfare. To discuss these issues we have a line up of four great speakers able to talk about this from different perspectives: Alistair Lawrence, Jimmy Turnbull, Becky Doyle and Andy Peters. If you would like to come along then see below:

The Eventbrite site is now live for the webinar – it is free but just so we can manage numbers people need to register to get the link to attend. This has been advertised on the SRUC website and internally (or will be shortly) and I will advertise around the vet school and Global Academy at the University (once I figure out how the mlist works!), as well as to policy staff at Scottish Government. Please feel free to send out to your networks/students as well if they are likely to be interested – see link below
