Dear colleagues,
[Sorry for cross-posting]
I am extremely pleased to announce that the Behavioural Science Centre is hosting a
one-day workshop on "Behavioural Science and Digital Markets Regulation” on Friday,
20 October 2023.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers interested in behavioural
regulatory policy and practitioners from the field (such as CMA, FCA, Ofgem, Ofcom, BIT).
The list of seven speakers is book-ended by two absolute powerhouses in the field:
* Fiona Scott

appointed Chief Economist of the European Commission's Directorate-General for

Assistant Attorney General for Economics at the United States Department of Justice
Antitrust Division.
* Amelia Fletcher

the Enforcement Decision Panel at Ofgem. Her past roles include Non-Executive Director of
FCA, HM Treasury-commissioned Digital Competition Expert Panel Chief Economist, and Senior

for her services to economic policy and the economy.
The lineup is complemented by five further speakers who are leading experts in their
