The Media
EIRAQ TO OFFER FULL COVERAGE OF THE IRAQI
ELECTIONS ON JANUARY 18TH
Announcement, Electronic Iraq

On January 18th, election day in Iraq, Electronic Iraq
hopes to offer full coverage of the day's events in
cooperation with correspondent Dahr Jamail on the ground
in Baghdad. However, on January 15th, the Iraqi Ministry
of Defence announced that all satellite and cell phone
networks will be down the day before, the day of, and the
day after the Iraqi elections. eIraq will do what we can
to bring original reporting from on the ground and
analysis from the eIraq team in spite of these
restrictions.
