The humanitarian situation in Iraq deteriorates day by day as the infrastructure continues to decline, medicines run out and insecurity prevails on every conceivable level. In recognition of this The Stop the War Coalition together with CND and Iraqi Child Victims of War, is organising a fundraising week of cultural events in London for the first week of November 2004, just before the US presidential election, not only to show solidarity with the Iraqi people but also to give practical support.
