First off

This is a spoof site of the georgewbush.com site- but it seems to be legit.

OCTOBER, 2004: Recently, we at GeorgeWBush.org happened to notice that our
mail server had a default "catch-all" mailbox, which for the past several
months had been quietly gathering any and all e-mails addressed to
[INSERT-ANYTHING-HERE]@georgewbush.org. We felt the need to share.

PLEASE NOTE: Full e-mail headers have not been included on all e-mails below
purely for the sake of readability. In response to requests however, sample
headers have been added here and here and here and here.

10.26.2004: Readers may be interested to learn that the "caging" e-mails
below (one and two) are indeed the same documents referenced in Greg
Palast's latest BBC Newsnight investigation. We sent them to him last week
prior to assembling this page.

Some Excerpts from the page ...

> injustice of these attacks on a local family owned business.
> The friend could focus on the notion that Kerry supporters are
> apparently willing to damage local businesses and families in their
> effort to stifle free speech.
> Pineworks isn't sponsoring the anti-Kerry piece right? They are simply
> buying ad time on the local channel.
> Politics is however, a contact sport.

> Hello All,
> Rod Wilson, owner of Pineworks (a furniture maker) in Auburn
> called us this week. His daughter (who works for him) also contacted
> SMC via e-mail.
> They advertise with the Sinclair group and are very
> upset/worried about the boycott being organized against them. They

> They have received numerous phone calls threatening the business
> but nothing actionable from what I understand.
> I am at a loss as to what I can do for them. Obviously,
> consumers are free to organize boycotts and I'm sure SMC wants to stay
> out of this. However, I feel for the company, which is a small family
> owned business that uses all Maine products in their production.
> Any thoughts on what I could do for them?
> Thanks,
> Sarah
