Blurb:
"As women become increasingly more prominent as
journalists, presenters and editors, and the
representations of women on radio and TV become
increasingly diverse, does it still make sense to talk
of sexism in the media.
Are we into in a post-feminist era that makes such a
charge absurd? What changes, if any, have women
brought about in the media? Has sexism disappeared or
merely changed its shape?"
Bennett joined the BBC as director of television in
2002 ...
Kitzinger is Prof of Media and communication studies
Cardiff.
Best wishes + have a fab weekend
Sigi
