Hi all,

This recent message posted to this list contains a virus. DO NOT OPEN
THE PROGRAM IN "INFORMATION.ZIP".

Sorry for shouting, but y'all know how it can be :)

The virus in the message is called W32/Bagel.j at MM (who said computer
geeks can't come up with catchy names? :), and you can find out more
information about it at:

   http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_101071.htm

That page also supplies a tool for you to check if your system has been
infected with the virus. The virus only infects Microsoft Windows.
Because the virus has hidden itself in a zip file with a password, it
may have slipped by your virus scanner. And of course, every one has a
virus scanner running, don't they? ;)

In case it is helpful, you can access a free online virus scanner at:

   http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

And remember what my mum told me: "Dinnae open unknown attachments
laddie, they may contain beasties wi' big pointy teeth".

Bye,
Dave
