[Media-watch] balance in war coverage/voices unheard

Dear BBC,

Balance is the target of course. Why then is it that you rarely
accord demonstration organisers/leaders/speakers airtime in
your main news programmes ?

We are given endless reams of speculation and 'official' reporting.
Home news is being sidelined and with it the voice of the very
significant numbers who are angered, feel disenfranchised (in a
democracy ?!), stand roundly against the war.

This is poor practice.

I do thank you for last night's Panorama which gave voice to
articulate and plain questions from around the world. The fact
they went (largely) unanswered says much about our political,
legal and moral position internationally.

Balance, balance, balance.

Yours sincerely,
