Subject: news 24 report from arab league

NEWS 24 23:30 Friday 24 March
2003-03-29

Interview with a representative
from the League of Arab States.

I watched this interview and was
shocked that your male presenter who was interviewing this Arab gentleman
introduced as an Ambassador.

At the end of the report your
presenter turned on the Arab with the usual hostile propaganda straw man “Are
you trying to keep the dictator Saddam in power?”etc. So much so that he
completely missed the interviewees statement that the League was now pursuing a
Unifying for Peace motion under UN Resolution 377.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes">  If they are successful it will mean the
UN calling on a ceasefire and withdrawal of the UN/UK troops.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes">  The legal status of the War would then
be in no doubt.

You missed the most significant
point because of your demanding your reporters to force your agenda and not
listen to what your interviewees are saying.
