[Media-watch] Special Security Council Meeting

Dear all,
So far I have seen no reference in the UK press to
the special meeting of the UN Security Council meeting today. Its
significance is that a meeting of the UN Genral Council could be called under UN
Resolution 377 "Uniting for Peace". It was under this procedure that the
UK had to withdraw from Suez. see link and th UN news site <A

Could this explain Blair's rush to see the UN
general Secretary?
Also the ETUC and the American Trade Unions under

opposed to this illegal war. Where's the coverage?
