In Guardian  22/1/03 p4  Professor Keith Hartley, economics professor at
York University has estimated that the minimum cost of a war against Iraq
wil be £3.5 billion for the UK  -  probably considerably higher.
Scotland's share would be over £300 million.  Some press letters and
questions to politicians on what would be their priorities for spending
£3-400 million would help to focus the open-ended war budget.
