[Media-watch] Election hustings

This may be of interest - it is a good chance to quiz election candidates on
a range of Human Rights issues including the Iraq war, the arms trade and
refugees policy. Apologies to those who get this twice.

Stirling Group AI UK - election hustings on April 23rd
This is to give final confirmation of the above event. The evening will be
held in the Cowane Centre theatre, Stirling, starting at 7:30pm and
finishing at 10pm. Claire Duncanson from the Edinburgh office of AI UK will
chair the event.
The format of the evening will be approximately as follows:
*Brief introduction of speakers and chair
*Statement from AI UK outlining AI's concerns at present and the
role/importance of a human rights agenda within government
*5 minute speech from each speaker
*Question and answer session
The speakers as of 11/04/03 are as follows:
*Malcolm Parkin - Conservative & Unionist Party
*Margaret Cormack - Green Party
*Helen Mcdade - Save Local Hospitals - Dunfermline, Perth, Stirling - Party
*Margaret Stewart - SSP
*Kenyon Wright - Liberal Democrat Party
*Janet Law - SNP
*Jim Lee - Labour Party
