There will be the opportunity for hands on use of the resources with assistance from Subject Librarians. This would be suitable for all postgraduate research students. </FONT></P>

There is an increasing amount of information available about archives online. Access to documents is also becoming more common with major digitisation programmes providing on-screen access to material. This session will highlight the various online resources which help researchers to search for archival collections relevant to their areas of interest. It will also look at examples of the types of documents which are now available to view online, from nineteenth century census records to modern statistical datasets. It will be particularly suitable for social science, arts and humanities students.</FONT></SPAN></P>
