Nominees should preferably have a record of managing a scholarly journal process as an Associate Editor or Editor, possess effective communication skills, demonstrate the ability to work effectively with authors (particularly junior faculty and graduate students), and employ a team-based approach to collaborating with Associate Editors and the SARMAC Publications Committee. Preference will be given to candidates who support and encourage improved research and methodological practices.</span><br style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96);" class=""><br style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96);" class=""><span style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="">Self-nominations will be accepted. SARMAC is an international society and the Governing Board encourages nominations from members of underrepresented groups. </span><br style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96);" class=""><br style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96);" class=""><span style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="">Nominees should </span><strong style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96);" class="">submit a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae, the names of three referees</strong><span style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class=""> who may be contacted by the Selection Committee, </span><strong style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96);" class="">and a 2-page vision statement that addresses the preferred criteria noted above</strong><span style="caret-color: rgb(96, 96, 96); background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);" class="">.
