<DIV>The faces I have made available to a number of people for research are indeed not available for publication, but a good alternative is to use synthetic faces - we have produced some software (ID) here at Cape Town that does a good job of producing highly realistic synthetic faces (not identifiable by blind raters as synthetic faces at levels above chance). It is very similar in many respects to the programs EVOFIT (Frowd and Hancock), and EIGENFIT (Solomon and Gibson et al.)</DIV>
