<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Research </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt">will focus on psychological mechanisms of meat reduction </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt">using a multi-method approach spanning </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt">cross-cultural, </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt">experimental,
behavioral,</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt"> ambulatory, </span><span style="font-size:12.0pt">and </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt">self/peer report survey</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> methods</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt">.
Primary emphasis will be on data from two projects for which data have already been collected on cross-cultural variation on attitudes about animal welfare and processes relevant to animal consumption in close relationships, as well as a longitudinal study
with a meat-reduction intervention component for which data collection will begin in Fall, 2023. However, there will also be opportunities to engage in other projects, including those initiated by the post-doc.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12.0pt">The post-doc will be able to strengthen their research portfolio as well as their teaching credentials by teaching a 2-hour weekly seminar per semester and assist in the supervision of masters
