Hannah drew the TED
talks to my attention (<a href="http://www.ted.com/talks"><font color="#0000FF"><u>http://www.ted.com/talks</u></font></a>) with the suggestion that we could watch one of these during one of our BERG meetings this semester. There are loads of great talks
by big names, so we could easily listen to Richard Dawkins or Jane Goodall telling us things we already know about and agree with, which would be fine. Or alternatively we could take the opportunity to listen to something more controversial, which sounded
a bit more fun to me.</div><div> </div><div>So this week I propose that we watch Elaine Morgan’s talk about the aquatic ape hypothesis. The video is short (less than 20 minutes) so there will be plenty of time for us to have a bit of a chat about what we think about it afterwards.</div><div> </div><div>We start at 5.30pm as per usual in the Psychology common room (3A94 Cottrell). Drinks and nibbles will be provided. Bathing costumes (for a quick dip in the loch afterwards) strictly optional.</div><div> </div><div>Christine.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div></font><div align="left"><hr><div align="left"><font face="Arial" size="2">The University of Stirling is ranked in the top 50 in the world in The Times Higher Education 100 Under 50 table, which ranks the world's best 100 universities under 50 years old.</font></div><font face="Arial" color="gray" size="2">The University of Stirling is a charity registered in Scotland, number SC 011159.<br></font></div></div></div></span><DIV align=left><HR>
