[BERG] Berg seminar - Wed April 19 - Alexandra Horowitz

Dear Bergers,

I'm delighted to announce that next week's BERG seminar, Wednesday April 19th, at 4pm, will be a discussion led by Dr Alexandra Horowitz from Barnard College. The title will be "Who is the dog?" We'll be discussing two of her recent papers:

Centring individual animals to improve research and citation practices - https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/brv.12912
Considering the “Dog” in Dog–Human Interaction - https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fvets.2021.642821/full

Both papers are available open access.

The discussion will be hybrid to take advantage of the fact that Dr Jim Anderson will be joining us in person in the psychology common room (3A94), but Dr Horowitz and anyone who wishes to join remotely can do so using this link:

Anderson seminar
Dr Jim Anderson will be giving a seminar talk on Thursday, April 20th, at 5pm in the psychology common room (3A94), titled, "Self-awareness, and Why There is No Suicide in Nonhuman Primates." The talk will be hybrid, so please join us either in person or online!
