We are hiring up to two fully funded postdocs working directly with Mats J Olsson and Arnaud Tognetti at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. Research focus is on human behavioural defences against disease, assessing perceptual, physiological, and immune markers. One of the projects focuses specifically on the influence of kinship on the behavioural defence against infectious diseases. This interdisciplinary project will address whether facial cues of sickness influence humans’ decisions to avoid or approach (i.e. care for) sick individuals and to what degree kinship moderates such decisions through different methods from experimental psychology to economics.
